Meet the collective
Nic Schofield
Founder/Registered Clinical CounsellorNic Schofield (he/him) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #20713) and the founder of Camas Collective Counselling, Consulting, Coaching & Wellness Inc. He works with children, youth, adolescents, and adults, offering compassionate, client-centred counselling that is practical, collaborative, and strengths-based. His primary therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), integrated within a trauma-informed and identity-affirming framework focused on helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Nic has extensive experience working within school settings and community environments, supporting youth with anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, learning differences, and life transitions. He regularly collaborates with families, educators, and support teams, including participation in IEP meetings and school-based planning, and brings the same collaborative, systems-aware approach to his work with adult clients navigating stress, relationships, and life changes.
Nic offers secure virtual counselling across British Columbia, as well as in-person, community-based and nature-based sessions — including walk-and-talk and movement-informed formats — with a focus on meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful, sustainable change. He can be reached at nic@camasco.ca or booked through camasco.ca “book now” at the top of the page.
